Leadership is influence. Everyone has influence. Everyone has the ability to create positive change and mark the people, places and things they touch. The Global Leadership Summit is a world-class event that will convene 400,000 influencers around the globe, aligned with one common vision: everyone wins when a leader gets better. As our leadership effectiveness improves, our impact is multiplied – in businesses and government, in police departments and prisons, in churches and hospitals and schools and family. The best leaders can learn from anyone. The Global Leadership Summit faculty represents a diverse cross-section of the world’s top leadership experts.

Last week, the GLS was held for 97 prisoners in at Kamiti Maximum Security Prison in Kenya.
“It was a great day! We had 97 inmates, all serving life imprisonment (unless released through presidential pardon or lack of a case in court.) Madam Wanini Kereri, Regional Prison Commander in Nairobi, Kenya, is opening the doors for all the prisons in Kenya. We’re looking forward to what will happen next year.” – Miriam Chumbi, GLS Leader, Kenya

“All of us are currently dealing with challenges in the business world. Not only with the economy and scarceness of funds, but also with people who are dispirited because it is generally accepted that life has become a struggle to survive. But during the GLS, I realized that God has placed me at a specific place and for a specific reason. I still have a purpose where I am, perhaps now more than before. I know and I believe with all my heart that God is busy preparing me for so much more.” – GLS attendee, Bloemfontein, South Africa 2016
The city of Mogok is a location for a new GLS site in Myanmar this year. 240 people attended for the first time. The event was held in a church on a hill overlooking the beautiful city.
Mogok is filled with Lisu tribe people. Their first language is Lisu and their second language is Burmese.
We’re thankful for the talks being translated in voice over because they wouldn’t have been able to read the Burmese subtitles.
The crowd responded well and God’s presence was awesome. Thank you for supporting the GLS in Myanmar!
