When something difficult is going on in your life, you can get confused, but the Summit helps me to get clarity. I can see God at work through these difficult experiences. God has been so kind to reveal these things while I’m at the Summit. The Summit has always helped me see the right perspective. Pray that more people can experience this.
Mexico City, Mexico
We will have our GLS on feb 23rd and 24th in Coatzacoalcos. For first time in our little history, we are expecting one non christian believer for each christian believer that comes to the Summit. Please, pray that the non believers can have a great leadership experience as well as a crucial spiritual experience.
Pray for every volunteer, economic resources, encouragement, our cities, for every one to discover Jesus. unity among our organizers, every invitation, and God’s grace on our events in Mexico.
The Summit helped me realize the Church can easily go out and reconcile with the community. In Egypt we live inside our Christian walls as a minority, and it was the first time I saw walls break down and I had the feeling we can communicate with people outside the Church. Pray for continued unity.
Providence, United States
Pray that Christian leaders get a vision to win their city for Christ, and that people get involved with developing their leadership to improve our city.

Right now our local churches are declining in numbers tremendously. But as Bill Hybels always talks about, the local church is the hope of the world. That’s really true and that’s what I believe. So everything I do as the president of the seminary, and through GLS, and all the other conferences for leadership development, is always geared toward one thing—To enable and help every single local church grow through baptism and discipleship. That is the whole idea, the premise of everything that I would like to see happen in the future.
